Thinking about the free seats....automatically cause a cherry blossom blooming in my heart. Its Hanami festivals in Japan that I would want to visit in April 2016!
What is HANAMI actually? Everytime sakura is blooming, the Japanese are celebrating a picinic, which they called as "Hanami"."Hanami" is not one of sushi type yer kawan-kawan..its actually a "flower viewing" festival or dalam bahasa kita " perayaan melihat bunga sakura". In Tokyo, they usually bloom in the beginning of April.
“Hana” means flower, and “Mi” comes from the word “Miru”, which means “to see”. Hanami means having an outdoor party to see the beauty of sakura during day or night time. The tradition of Hanami emerged centuries ago. Many said it started during the Nara Period (710-784 BC) but it didn’t actually start in Japan. Hanami is said to have been influenced by the Chinese custom of enjoying flowers. Japan adopted this custom, but focused primarily on the short life of the blossoms and their beauty. (credit info from Wikipedia)
Why I love so much Hanami festivals? Its all because of the cherry blossom...the beauty of cherry blossoms always reminds me of the meaning of a gifted life. Cherry blossoms look beautiful, but only last for a very short time. Sometimes we take for granted what we have in life, because we think we will have them every day – our family, our health, or our jobs. Cherry blossoms remind us that we should always thank God for the precious moments we have been given and the beauty of life that He gives us every day.
and another reason of course (must have more than one definitely..ghee)...because it give a speechless scenery with sweet pink colour around you....very lovey dovey..auchhh...doesn't it look romantic and arouse " love is in the air" mood to you? It does to me indeed!...having a cup of "green tea" with small barbeque underneath the cherry blossom trees would be one of the best moment I've ever dream with my loved one! And...my favourite spot for cherry blossom viewing definitely would be at Ueno Park (one of the biggest park in Tokyo).
